Colville, WA: In the most recent issue of Process Cooling, John Gallaher of Hillphoenix highlighted Colmac Coil’s involvement in a new cheese-processing facility for MDS Foods. One of the main goals of the processing room was to reduce labor and maintenance costs involved with keeping the coils clean. The design by Colmac included low velocity coils with wash-down duty motors to help meet this goal. Chris Vaught, vice president of technical services for MDS noted, “We’re able to meet our quality and sanitation standards while saving time and money.”
