Colville, WA - January 25th, 2022 – Colmac Coil is pleased to announce that Joe Fazzari, P.E., President of Colmac Coil, has been nominated to serve a three-year term as a voting member on the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) board of directors and will stand for election in March 2022. IIAR is the world's leading advocate for the safe, reliable, and efficient use of ammonia and other natural refrigerants. Fazzari brings over 20 years of industrial refrigeration industry experience and over 10 years of IIAR committee leadership experience to the IIAR Board of Directors.

As the safety committee chairman, Fazzari has served as an ex officio member of the IIAR board for several years. He joined the safety committee in 2012 and has led the committee as chairman since 2018.

Fazzari began his career at Colmac Coil in 2002, accumulating experience in sales, management, production, and marketing before becoming president in January 2021. Joe is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Washington, and he also holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
