Luis Gabriel Gutierrez Padilla, Latin American Sales Manager, Colmac Coil Manufacturing, Inc. has won the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) 2023 Award for Spanish Presentation Excellence for his presentation titled “Integridad Mecánica en Evaporadores de Refrigeración”.
IIAR reserves the Award for Spanish Presentation Excellence for the speaker who receives the highest evaluations for conference participants at the IIAR Annual National Conference and Expo. The 2023 IIAR Natural Refrigeration Conference was held March 13-15 in Long Beach, California.
According to Gary Schrift, IIAR President, “IIAR recognizes that many of our Spanish speaking colleagues make extra efforts to attend the annual conference, and extra efforts to present important ideas and information in Spanish.”
Gabriel Gutiérrez has a degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering at Universidad de Guadalajara. He began his activities in 1985 as a Service Engineer at the ARCO/Watson Company. In 1990 he joined the Sabroe de México company as Sales Manager, subsequently becoming the National Manager of the Refrigeration Division of the Johnson Controls / YORK Refrigeration until 2011. As from 2012 he is currently Colmac Coil Company Sales Manager for Latin America region. Starting in 1995 he has participated as a speaker in various refrigeration symposiums in Latin America and USA.
